Intended for general personnel exposed to manual handling activities.
Basic fast short course, straight to the point.
Aims is to :-
- Provide the student with a sound knowledge of the issues involved in manual handling
- To introduce the relevant legislation
Objectives : - By the end of the course the student will
- Be aware of their employers obligations
- Be aware of their own obligations
- Understand why a good handling technique is important
- Undertake a basic risk assessment by yourself
- Have practised a safe method of lifting / moving
