FIRST AID APPOINTED PERSON - 6 Hour
HSE recommend this as the minimum First Aid cover requirement needed at your workplace. An Appointed Person may provide cover for low risk work areas. They are appropriate in an emergency in the low risk work hazard area.
This 6 hour course shows the basics of First Aid and the current emergency procedures,
- CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
- First aid for the unconscious casualty
- Treatment of severe bleeding
- Treatment of shock
- Various other work related First Aid conditions.
- Knowledge of recommended First Aid kit contents
