Anxiety and Sleep Management Treatment

The aim of this Cognitive Behavioural Based intervention is to meet the needs of clients who have sleep problems and/or have difficulty in coping with stress in their life. Stress manifests itself in the form of anxiety.

Anxiety is the name given to the way we respond to stressful situations. It is natural and everyone at some time will respond to a stressful situation by being anxious. This intervention is designed to make you become more aware of what happens when we become anxious, the effects this can have on our physical well being and although this will not stop you becoming anxious, the techniques learned will help you manage the anxiety in an appropriate way.

In educating and equipping the client with coping techniques, they will completely address the issues surrounding the anxiety and sleep erosion problems.
